Kitchen Design in Upper West Side, NY

We know Upper West Side kitchens well — our West 70th Street project took a dated white galley with tile floor and turned it into a dramatic marble-effect room where cabinetry, counters, and appliance fronts all read as one material. That job is a good illustration of what is possible in a narrow pre-war kitchen when the layout is rethought rather than merely refaced.

Buildings between Riverside and Central Park West share a common set of constraints: load-bearing walls that cannot move, radiators under windows, and old riser locations. We design around them — enclosing radiators in millwork, using shallow-depth tall cabinets where plumbing dictates, and choosing appliances that fit the opening you actually have.
