Kitchen Design in Financial District, NY
Financial District kitchen remodeling and European cabinetry. See our completed apartment renovation on 20 West Street in FiDi.
Our 20 West Street project is a good example of Financial District work: a dark, dated kitchen with cherry cabinets replaced by bright handleless Nobilia fronts, a cooktop and oven combination for a seamless base run, and under-cabinet LEDs to make a windowless kitchen usable. The grid lines of the cabinetry do the visual work that a window cannot.
Many FiDi apartments are office-to-residential conversions, which means unusual column placements, odd ceiling heights, and plumbing that runs where it ran when the building was commercial. We measure carefully and design to what is there — no assumptions from a stock plan.
